Hi all,

Code:
ls -l /usr/X11R6/bin/xterm
-rws--x--x    1 root     root       249140 Jun  9 01:09 /usr/X11R6/bin/xterm

Any reason why xterm is suid ? Seems nasty to me...

Charles

I suppose it's for updating the wtmp entries. Anyway, it doesn't seems to be a good idea.
