The USE flag that pulled ortp was masked in Portage for Kopete but now that it's gone from Portage the mask was removed also...
I suggest you contact the overlay maintainers (or become one yourself) and remove the USE flag entirely from kopete's ebuild. There's packages in Portage that will need new ortp, and you can't have both installed at the same time, new and old... 
EDIT: This is a nice example of how KDE 3.5.x will simply stop working at some point entirely as packages around it evolve  |
