I'm having some issues getting the Toshiba NB205-series netbook's bluetooth to work (or even be recognized) in linux. I have no idea what bus it's hooked up to, but i'm not seeing any relevant entries in lspci OR lsusb, so it might be on s mixed-function device. I need to know if anyone's gotten this function to work, and if so, how? I'd like to be able to use the bluetoothe functionality of both this and my cellphone to link up the two, but not having any luck on the netbook front. |

If you're not seeing it in lspci or lsusb (if it's built-in, I imagine it'd be the former) then maybe the kernel isn't setup properly? How is it configured? |

i'm not sure if i have the proper modules installed or not. i have every bluetooth driver from the kernel enabled as a module except the SDIO one. sticker on bottom of the netbook says its a 4389B-EYTFXCS. is there an extra module i need to install, kinda like the madwifi driver? in any case, i'll try enabling the sdio driver, but i doubt i'll see any real positive results... i really don't see why they'd want to put something like that on sdio. |
