|

I'm wondering why there are at least 2 timestamp ISOs CD for x86 on the server available for download?
The official announcement was to use the CDs datestamped as 20030806. However there are X86 CDs which are stamped with 20030807. Which one should I get?
What's the difference between the 2? I used the set of CD with 20030807 which I think is buggy for my AMD K6-2 installation. The first boot was a failure. Does that mean the 'official' CD(20030806) is less buggy? |

From what I know the 20030806 CDs fix issues concerning x86 and i686 systems, therefore I do not see why you should have a problem with an AMD K6-2.
I can only suggest you to download the 20030806 datestamped CDs, maybe I misread the the fixes that were made. |
