I know that the @preserved-rebuild set does not work correctly in some cases. |

I've been using portage-2.2 since it first came out, a looong time ago, before it was package masked and never had any issues at all with it. |

In fact, portage 2.2 is pretty good, it's not stable as they want or some feature are not 100% without bugs, so they wait.
It's impossible to have a program that 100% of the code is bug free. |
