This is to silly..
Sorry, but I'm totally confused after reading through all of these post's on Setting the time zone I still don't understand which is the right time zone setting that I should use. There's to many choices.
When I do "date" from the command line my time says that it is in GMT.
So what is the correct setting to use in Section 14 of the install guide in Setting the time zone. I live in Washington state and my time is GMT -8 but I don't know how to specify that by looking at whats in zoneinfo dir.
What is this line suppose to look like?
ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/path/to/timezonefile

pacific time zone?
/usr/share/zoneinfo/US/Pacific is the specific file you need to symlink _________________ Linux on an AMD processor: an OS for people who dont use deoderant with a CPU for people who can't afford deoderant |
