New x86_64 gentoo system, upgraded to unstable
Mplayer from svn, with ffmpeg-mt.
The problem is that when I specify a hebrew encoding value (-subfont-encoding 'ISO8859-8') the OSD text disappears completely.
When I leave it untouched, then the subtitles are just gibberish, but other OSD text displays fine.
What could be the problem? _________________ http://www.dtonator.com

Solved using the "-subcp iso-8859-8" option and not setting the -subfont-encoding (which defaults it to unicode).
I think that worked before, because I had ENCA compiled. That's only an assumption though .. _________________ http://www.dtonator.com |
