how do i install ARM mode Gentoo?

You have to download the ARM stages and such and install from scratch on an ARM based machine. _________________ My emerge --info
Have you run revdep-rebuild lately? It's in gentoolkit and it's worth a shot if things don't work well.

ARM is a different computer architecture, so the x86 binaries will not work for it, nor will a x86 kernel.
By downloading the ARM stages from one of the gentoo mirrors (http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/mirrors2.xml), you can install to an ARM based system.
You do need to own one of these systems before you can use it in any way of course. _________________ Sysadmin of Ubuntu systems and servers....

could always run it under Qemu
I've not done so, but supposedly it supports ARM arch |
