Yes, the glibc spin is usually more appripriate for a regular desktop system; nevertheless, if a server system with a larger software repository (than that of Alpine) is desirable, the musl spin can also be useful.
(Actually, I currently use both spins on two of my systems, for exactly the application scenarios above.) _________________ My current OpenPGP key:

I have Void-musl on my 2009-2010 Acer laptop. I was about to give up with Firefox earlier, but the musl -version seems to be much more lighter. Now that laptop is back in business.
I might install Gentoo-musl on it eventually. I definitedly need to setup a crossdev environment for it on some other PC before starting the install. _________________ ..: Zucca :..
