i have a blue G3 that i want to install gentoo on ... but i have a prob that seems to affect all others that are trying to use 1.4 and a blue G3. The live cd cannot find HDA b/c its missing the needed drivers. no hda == no install.
i read this thread but it doesnt saying how to work around this....
i would use an old 1.4 like rc8,rc7... or whatever but i cant find these images, is there a place where i can download these? or a way that i can include the need drivers in the current iso image....
any help on installing gentoo in this situation would help...
thanks

Hmm... you're right, no rc8 LiveCD. But I'm looking at the rc7 LiveCD ISOs right now. There's one for Gnome and one for KDE.
Check the other mirrors. All you gotta do is go to the Gentoo homepage www.gentoo.org and click Get Gentoo up top to the right. _________________ * Blessing /dev/hda2 with holy penguin pee |
