I am trying to implement smtp-auth for postfix with cyrus-sasl, using saslauthd with ldap (without pam). But somehow postfix ignores that saslauthd and attempts to read from /etc/sasl2/sasl2db and fails. I have pwcheckmethod:saslauthd in /etc/sasl2/smtp-2.0.conf and /etc/sasl2/smtpd.conf. What am I doing wrong?
