I have recently begun to enjoy using Quassel remotely and think it's a great program for replacing the more cumbersome Irssi/Weechat and screen method I had been using. I tend to be on the more paranoid side of things, requiring keys for my ssh and such, so I am not terrible pleased with the password authentication of Quassel.
Can anyone comment on the security / track record of Quassel?
What suggestions do you have to improve security while running it? What's the best way to limit failed login attempts?
Thanks! |

Well it uses SSL, so it is at least security competent. But it hasn't really been around long enough to have a proven track record. _________________
