Ive thought about posting this in the Ardour forums, but since most of the ppl there are Ubuntu and other distros users, and my problem is more about compiling, I believe here is a better place. Correct me if I'm wrong tho. And also, the bugs.gentoo.org isnt an option for starters. I get really confused there.

Well, I have Ardour 2.8.7, which is working fine (havent done much tho..) and I'm trying to install the 2.8.11 package. I'm getting the following feedback:

Code:
* You need to manually download the source from http://ardour.org to
 * use this ebuild. Place it in your distfiles directory.

Then I got the source bz2 file and put it in my /usr/portage/distfiles. But it went like before. Here goes the rest of the errors:

Code:
libs/ardour/io.cc: In member function 'virtual int ARDOUR::IO::load_automation(std::string)':
libs/ardour/io.cc:1736: error: expected ')' before 'PRIu32'

Any other important infos I could provide?

Thanks in advance!
