|
|
hi, I'm at a university campus... behind a proxy who only allows traffic through port 80... I need to know how I can tunnel traffic through that port so I can use stuff like my webcam... I have a webhotel with script support and all and was kinda hoping that I might be able to use that as a bouncing point or something?
have never played with tunneling before and so far I haven't been able to find any solution to my problem on the Net og in the forum.
any ideas any1?

Hello,
You might want to take a look at ssh port forwarding/tunneling. Check out google for those, you'll definately find something to start with. I once did something in that direction but I needed to have a shell account out of my company in order to do port forwarding...

I wonder if a perl script or something like it for a website could be use for tunneling... the only thing I have outside my projected intranet is a website. _________________ an it harm none, do as ye will. |
