PCMCIA + 2.6-test4 kernel.. no success!

Hey,

I can't get anything out of 2.6 kernel... I require to load the prism2 module to get it working in gentoo, and somehow other distros manage to get it working with orinoco_cs.... I can't get no lights from my wireless cards, ifconfig eth0, eth1 and wlan0 give me no such device, emerge pcmcia-cs fails, emerge wireless-tools fails... pretty much can't get shit from my wireless card..

It was auto detected with gentoo's install CD using 2.4 kernel and all methods that get the card working or atleast lighting up in 2.4 kernel don't do crap in 2.6 kernel...

Anyone has any ideas at all? I compiled all PCMCIA stuff into the kernel and tried compiling as modules.. nothing.

It doesn't help that I come across snippets here and there about how someone has successfully done it but I don't see details.
