Hi all, i have bought an Acer Aspire 1604LC laptop, and when booting with the new kernel i get this error repeatly:
hda: lost interrupt.
I have probed using noapic on grub config, but nothing change. Also, i disabled dma but nothing change too. What can i do? The hd is not broken, windows xp runs perfectly. |

I have an Acer aspire 1605 and I had a similar problem, I'm using now 2.6.0-test6-mm4 without problems (I guess the problem was with acpi for interrput handling)... although acpi can not suspend the machine...

The solution was turning off apm support and enabling acpi into the kernel. |
