|
|
Hello.
I have a bit different problem but I didn't wanted to open new topic.
My kdenlive works well except... that clips in timeline are plyed/rendered in different order then should be. In exmaple I put video01 as a first in timeline (in video line 1) and below at the end of the clip video01 - I put video02 (in line 2). I click play and.. playing starts from video02 but the playing mark is moving "inside" video01. The same is for rendering.
Any ideas?
kldenlive version 0.7.6

@ individual
Same problem here in two Gentoo boxes (32bit-i686 and 64bit no-multilib amd64)
kdenlive 0.7.6
mlt 0.4.6
I'm going to try it out from some other distro to see how it behaves.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. |

Problem solved in my case:
Solution - Latest kdenlive + mlt + qt-4.6.1. As far as I know in latest kdenlive developers fixed some issues with qt 4.6.1.
Now all clips are perfectly in the timeline and rendering works great.
Unfortunatelly I've found problem with dvdauthoring in kdenlive. I've got no menu in DVD - means - all links to chapters are gone. Movie is divided accordingly to my choises, picture which should be a background of the menu is present but no links. So when I swich to title menu - I cannot do anything (but play somtimes works).
I belive it's more related to dvdauthor itself. _________________ HP dv5-1040ew + Gentoo ~amd_64 |

I have a similar problem with kdenlive now. The kdenlive config wizard claims mlt sdl module not found and that kdenlive will not work without it. libsdl is installed and mlt is merged with sdl flag.
media-libs/mlt-0.7.6 (/usr/lib64/mlt/libmltsdl.so)
Any idea why it's not finding the sdl module?
*edit* It's obviously using it, but crashing:

*edit*
Updating kdenlive to the *unstable* 0.8.2.1 fixed it and it's now no longer crashing.
This old 0.7.6 should really be removed from portage and 0.8 marked as stable. _________________ Linux Users Everywhere @ climateprediction.net |
