Cropping PDFs / merging pages

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to crop multi-page PDFs and remove pagebreaks.

I know pdfcrop, but that's not what I'm looking for: pdfcrop crops individual pages but doesn't merge the resulting pages. I made a sketch to show what I mean:

Any ideas?

That's a great start, I didn't know that OOo can do that. Yes, importing works and I'm able to rearrange the pages.

But is there a tool to automate the process? (Without rasterizing the file)

I took the tradeoff of rasterisation and hacked a little script to rearrange the pages. In case anyone searches for something similar, see

I'm still looking for automated solutions w/o rasterizing :-)
