Hey,
Basically what the title says! I have just installed gentoo on my ps3 after using Yellowdog in the past , first impressions: very different Im coming from a fedora based background (had fedora on my home box for 3 years) and wanted to make sure that i had my configuration set up correctly for ps3. The documentation for gentoo on the ps3 is fairly old, most recent i found was 2008, and so wanted to know if any one using an up-to-date system could share some info on the make.conf ? I installed the 64bit userland. Am running an old kernel (2.6.23) and am in the process of updating that as well as a lot of other old packages (GCC,python).
Also interested to see if anyone is still running gentoo on a ps3? Any help is appreciated!
Cheers |

There are a couple of PS3 users still. Slack--line has a wiki from his install from around a year ago. http://kimura.no-ip.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=gentoo_on_playstation_3
It's the most up to date that I know of.
This is my make.conf.
