as a background, i have CUPS set up on a separate gentoo box, along with an HP printer. the printer and cups are set up fine, and they work with the test page from cups and even when i print to it from my computer also running cups.
my question is, when i use the command:
Code: | lpr -P <name_of_printer_in_cups> <file> |
it prints, but if i did that command to print a RTF file, then it would print the file raw, like it would not bold anything it would put {bold}text{/bold} or however they do it in RTF.
is there a way to print RTF documents? or any formatted document for that matter? thanks. _________________

map { $i++ while chop; push (@dune,$i); undef $i; } split /[eE]/;
map { print chr ${\(shift(@dune) + $_)}; } split /[DUNE]/,$japh;
