Hello, I have recently installed my brand new Sony DVD +- RW.
But I having trouble burning a DVD, it went fine with a CD using k3b.
I have spend all day trying to find out how to make it work, I found this great guide:
http://www.frogcement.com/html/dvd/linux_dvd_burning.html
Using this command line Code: | dvdrecord fs=32m -v -dao -eject speed=4<speed> dev=0,1,0<SCSIDEV> filename.udf |
But I know that "dev=0,1,0" is wrong, think I read somewhere that dev=0,1,0 could be replaced by ATAPI or something.
When I tried to emulate scsi, k3b didn't find my Sony at all.
So i don't know how to do, please help a lost soul from sweden(you can tell by my bad english ) |

njanet,
Its all here, http://fy.chalmers.se/~appro/linux/DVD+RW/
both ways of doing it and why both have their limitations together with some technical background.
