Is there a Gtk+ or Qt4 solution for OCR'ing VobSubs to SRT? _________________ Git has obsoleted SVN.

I think Avidemux has this functionality . _________________ "Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves." - Abraham Lincoln

Yep, avidemux can do it. But last time I tried it (admittedly, it was quite some time back), it didn't really convince me. I just use SubRip in wine. It's by far the best app for the job. Not just the ocr-ing but also the post-ocr spelling correction, particularly when it comes to I and i (which often look completely the same in vobsubs). However, do try avidemux and report how it does. |

I'm already comfortable with using OpenOffice's spell checker. _________________ Git has obsoleted SVN.
