I built my Linux kernel with SCSI support, and at the time I installed it with 1 IDE hard drive, 1 CDROM, and 3 SCSI drives.....now, I want to replace the CDROM with a CDRW so that I can back up files to a CD for off-site storage. What, if anything needs to be done?
thanks in advance. |

if you are buying a SCSI drive, then nothing should really have to be done as long as /dev fs is enabled (which is should be)
Just set up your favorite cd-burning applications and you set to go |
