Has anyone gotten ACPI with suspend/resume on a Thinkpad A30p?
The A30p is similar to other Thinkpads such as the A30, T30 (?), ...
So if you made it work on those chances are it will work on the A30p.
If you got it to work what patches or kernel did you use? |

I dont have a A30p myself but I can give some advise.
The best source I have found so far to work with my Compaq Presario laptop is the gentoo-source. Gentoo-source have the best stable support for ACPI.
I have try with the vanilla-source with acpi-patch apply by hand. Better support than gentoo-source but less stable ( hang after 3 hours... )
Also, if you dont know this page ( http://www.linux-on-laptops.com/ibm.html ), it can give you some advise to help you. |
