XChat troubles.

When I want to get some text files from my friend, and I do all that stuff, his server says I must 'set my client to recieve..'

How do I do this (this is xdcc btw)?

The little box pops up, and I click 'Accept,' but it does not do anything.

I am behind a firewall, but I have openend ports 194 tcp/udp.

It is like it just times out.

On the box it said it was designed for Win XP or better, so why won't it work with Linux?
