Hi all,

I recently got the remake of Aliens vs. Predator from steam. It's not the new Sega one, it's the "classic 2000" one. I had no trouble installing it on Playonlinux and it starts just fine too. The problem that I'm having is that once the game starts, it doesn't detect any mouse movement. It does, however, let me fire weapons using the mouse. I can also see the mouse cursor during gameplay, but it's stuck on the top left corner of the screen. I've tried adding "MouseWarpOverride force-box" to the registry, but it didn't fix the issue.

The version of Wine that is being used by playonlinux is 1.1.41, but it did the same thing with 1.1.40. It is also set to Windows 7 mode.

I've been able to play the game using just the keyboard for now, but as I'm sure you can imagine it's a pain in the butt. Any help would definitely be appreciated. Thanks!

Here's the link to the game: store.steampowered.com/app/3730/

Is it this?

If so you might consider taking the data from your Steam install and using it with this: http://icculus.org/avp/

Awesome! That worked. Kind of sucks that none of the videos work (and probably never will since it's no longer updated) but it'll definitely do the job until they get the mouse issue fixed in WINE. Thanks!
