Tuning di Apache

Salve ragazzi

Devo ottimizzare Apache, per ottenere delle performances dignitose su una macchine che deve soddisfare un sacco di chiamate...oltre ai vari parametri del file di configurazione, avete qualche buon configlio/guida da darmi? Grazie

L'unico consiglio che mi sento di darti e di fare due macchine, una per i testi, e una per le immagini.
Occhio al filesystem, usa "noatime" per il fs dei files in questione.
Abbassa il log al minimo, o usa dei logger piu' performanti (ma il concetto e' che apache dovrebbe loggare il meno possibile).

Ciao,

il consiglio è di non esagerare con la configurazione, cerca un buon rapporto parametri/chiamate, cioè non andare a configurare apache per poi utilizzare solo 1/4 della sua potenza, rischi di caricare la macchina e rallentare le prestazioni. Buon Lavoro.

Ovviamente, come ti hanno gia' giustamente detto, togli tutti i moduli che non usi... ma questo lo sapevi gia', vero?!?!?!?

Guardati la sezione Performance settings in /etc/apache/conf/apache.conf. In particolare

I valori da impostare variano veramente da sistema a sistema, i default sono accettabili per piccoli-medi server.

Risolto ragazzi, su una macchina del genere la direttiva KeepAlive impostata su On non aveva molto senso. Ciao e grazie
