When using single program like vlc, pulse works. But if a browser is running (firefox or chrome), it seems to create a blockage. vlc started after browser does not produce any sound.
The ratelimit message is what I get when I then quit the browser (closing the flash tab is not enough to unlock). The sound then come back from vlc.
Time frame is backwards... older at bottom, recent at top.
The "Device busy" and "sink suspended" lines spam my logs at a rate of 5 per second every 5 seconds.

With vlc running, starting a flash video on youtube produce no sound and similar error.
how do I prevent these programs from locking each other sounds ? I assumed that by default pulse was designed to merge multiples sources.
