I need a command line tool to dump the tags off a WMA file. I'm having a hard time finding one, mostly because Google can't figure out that when I search for a WMA tag tool I don't want an MP3 tag tool. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please don't reply with GUIs, I need to script this. |

Well, I do not know of an already existing sollution for that.
However, if you don't mind using Java, I could provide (create) a simple sollution based on JAudiotagger (http://www.jthink.net/jaudiotagger/). |

Well, I was kind of hoping I wouldn't have to roll it myself, but that looks like it may do what I want and then some. As much as I despise Java, it may be time to blow the cobwebs off my Java hat and try that library. |
