BIG mbox-->Cyrus conversion -- how to do it?

Hello,

I'm about to switch our mail servers from uw-imapd to Cyrus, but I'm currently wondering how to efficiently & reliably convert huge number of mailboxes and messages from mbox format to Cyrus format. I've already tried imapmigrate, which seems to be reliable but way too slow for my purposes (conversion would take about two weeks ). Other scripts I've seen simply aren't made for mass migration.

So, do you have any ideas, or do I have to code a converter by myself?
