|
|
I found this on a thread in this forum
Quote: | I compiled alsa into the kernel and added alsasound to boot. Everything works but when I shutdown and the mixer levels are stored, it gives this error: "modprobe: FATAL module snd_card_1 not found" for snd_card_1 through 7. I commented out that part of the alsasound script. |
What script is he refering to? /etc/init.d/alsasound, is this the one? If it is I am not sure what part to comment out _________________ http://brighteyedcomputer.com |

Yes, but that is no solution.
Put into /etc/modules.d/alsa:
Code: |
options snd cards_limit=1
|
Then update-modules. Restart alsa:
Code: |
# /etc/init.d/alsasound restart
|
|

That option was already in there, and uncommented. Thanks for your input, still looking for the answer. _________________ http://brighteyedcomputer.com |

is your alsasound script up to date? Try remerging alsa-utils.
Thats all I got. When I had this problem setting the snd card
limit made it go away. |
