thx works fine....
another problem
when opening an url under file location I got an error saying:
you do not have the necessary user permissions to enable autoupdate.
mmhhh I emerged under root...

Yes. Very annoying. I need RealOne to autoupdate so I can get the Sony Atrac codec, but it wont cos it's installed as root. I don't want to install the tarball manually as $USER because I'd rather Portage managed the RealOne installation. |

Sorry. Maybe I should have stated the obvious.
IT WONT!
Try it and see. Become superuser; hell, login to X as root and try it that way. RealOne, for some reason, wont run as root under Gentoo, but people don't seem to have this problem on other distributions. |
