hi folks!
i ran into a little problem while trying to get rid of windowmanagers. i tried to start an application in X without a windowmanager. it worked fine for:
Code: | xinit /usr/X11R6/bin/xterm |
even "aterm" and "sylpheed" worked fine.
but apps like mozilla, opera and openoffice dont response to my keyboard input.
maybe this is a programming fault? but how do the windowmanagers send their keyboard input? as fare as i know sylpheed uses gtk+. so this seems to work fine. the others are using their own guis?
how can i make this programs respond?
Thanks,
Daniel |
