Hello,
I am using a "virtual surround" LADSPA plugin which has 6 inputs and 2 outputs. Currently, my JACK setup has only 2 playback and 2 capture ports. Am I correct that the LADSPA plugin would only be receiving data from 2 channels? If so, how do I set JACK to have 6 capture/input channels?

I tried setting the input channel to 6 via Qjackctl but JACK quits with a bunch of errors. Here is a part of the messages from Qjackctl:

Code:

So which plugin is that, then?

I suggest my config.

Edit: 6 inputs and 2 outputs? So that's 5.1 to stereo, right?

I'm sorry if I wasn't able to reply right away. I've decided to not to use the said LADSPA plugin anymore. I was using a plugin which allows me to use VSTs which allows me to use VSTs thru LADSPA. I think it was called DSSI-VST? The VST plugin I was trying to use is called Isone Pro. I decided that I don't like it and just use ALSA directly now.
