gcc-3.3.1-trouble

Hi,

I recently tried to install Gentoo from the scratch (stage1) and experienced problems compiling src with gcc-3.1.1-r1. Last thing that didn't work was the IDE_CD module from gentoo-kernel-2.4.20-r6... :cry:

Any suggestions how I can get gentoo running?

Doing a reinstall with stable src. Since I'm a gentoo n00b, i'll try getting more experienced documents first, before switching to expert level :lol:
