|

I recently upgraded to Thunderbird 3, and the new search feature doesn't seem to work. It doesn't matter what I search for, even just single letters, no messages are found. Is there some way to select which folders are being indexed? Maybe I don't have any checked? I've waited a while, just in case it takes it some time to build the index.
Barring fixing the search, is there any way to get back the filter functionality that existed before the search? |

I wouldn't say that it completely doesn't work but I have found it be unreliable, often failing to return any results records when I know they exist. Haven't found a triggering event or solution myself. _________________ Cheers,

Thanks! That was it. I didn't even think to check to see if the indexing was just off. I guess sometimes, it's the simple answer. |
