hi all,
i've upgraded to gnome 2.4 so that could get the new nautilus tree view with multiple roots. This tree view is watching the file /etc/mtab so that it gets new mounted media (it is using all entries which have as mount option user||users||owner) . I am using automount to mount network shares, my auto.master has the line:
/misc /etc/autofs/auto.misc
my auto.misc has some lines which looks like:
internal -fstype=smbfs,user,uid=pichler ://172.16.0.26/internal
which should tell automount to mount the samba share with the option user and uid=pichler - which works very well - the problem now is that when it gets mounted and i tak a look into /etc/mtab it there gets listed as:
//172.16.0.26/internal /misc/internal smbfs 0 0
---> the options are missing (but the are applied) - so why doesn't the options get displayed ? |
