hi allerseits,
da ich für mein studium wohl auch ab und zu mal auf ne windowsplattform zugreifen muss, hab ich mir vmware mit win2k installiert und bin auch ziemlich begeistert soweit.
jetzt hab ich allerdings n kernelupdate gemacht, und frage mich, wie ich das vmmon modul neu kompilieren kann. das vmware config script find ich irgendwie nicht mehr (wird das nachm ausführen gelöscht? wenn nein, wo isses und wie heissts?)
und dann hab ich noch ne frage zu DGA. weil die dga unterstützung in meiner xf86config ausgeschaltet is, kann ich vmware nur im fenster laufen lassen. schalte ich sie allerdings ein, starten meine vms gar nicht mehr. den fehlercode kann ich jetzt leider nicht sagen, weil ichs ohne das vmmon modul ja nicht reproduzieren kann. weiss vielleicht trotzdem jmd, woran das liegen könnte und wie ichs beheben kann?
