are you on x86_64?
It was I think yesterday when the last amd64 flash disappeared from portage.
If this is the case for you, try to find the ebuild of adobe-flash-10.0.45.2-r1 and put it in a local overlay.
Edit: No sorry. I just saw that version is Hardmasked. Maybe due to security reasons.
Try adding it to /etc/portage/package.unmask |

flash 10.0 IS hardmasked for security reasons.
To get 10.1 running on x86_64 use nspluginwrapper, which allows you use the 32-bit plugin. (10.1 is only available in 32-bit, while 10.0 was also available in 64-bit)

Exactly the same for me, firefox (64 bit binary) + flash worked then after upgrading firefox it didn't, but installing nspluginwrapper appears to have cured it. |
