Hi,
I installed Mozilla a while ago and unmerged it recently. When I look at the world-file however I see that Mozilla is still listed.
When I do an 'emerge --update world' however, it does not get reinstalled or something.
How can this be? Shouldn't all unmerged applications be getting removed from the world file?

well, it does not want to re-install it so it's no problem, is it ?
Seems like the world file only checks for already installed ebuilds and thats good, isn't it ?

thank you
yes it's strange indeed but it has no impact on your system and if you emerge it again I hope it doesn't get double entries or so... |
