only some parts of KDE?

Hi,
Is there a way to install only some parts of KDE? I don't want to install all packages, I need only KWrite, Konqueror and maybe KMail....is there a way to install only this 3 things?

There was a thread around that had information on how to do it, but I don't recall much else about it.
