[qmail] smtp do not return remote mta error messages

Hi,

I have configure the smtp service in netqmail has discribed in the wiki page. I have written a php script using pear library to send e-mail via smtp service. Sending e-mail to an invalid user but with a valid domain does not return an error - error return by the remote MTA.

Is there a way to setup the smtp service to make it return the remote MTA error if exist ?
