Ok, people, I am using standalone compiz and I need to do this so the programs I execute are not children processes of compiz - thus not running with the --indirect-rendering argument. I need to do this because this argument is giving me trouble with 3d applications, both native and the ones run under wine. That's why I don't want to bind this through commands section under ccsm.

Any ideas? any program that works on command-line goes, as it will probably work thorugh .xinitrc also.

Thank you very very much and see you. Hope my English was easy to understand and that that was posted in an adequate section.

Great!

Exactly what I was looking for and works flawlessly. Now I can continue my religious proselitism in Civilization IV. Thank you. ^^
