Is there a Filesharing program that works w/ a http proxy?

The problem is that I'm behind the university firewall, and I can only access the internet through their http proxy server, which only allows connections on ports 80 and 8080, and then only if a user name and password are entered . Are there any file-sharing programs that are able to only use ports 80 and 8080 as well as supporting basic authentication?

I'm beginning to feel kinda restricted by the firewall
