Has anyone managed to get a PCMCIA / CardBus USB2 card working? As I understand it, I'd need to use kernel drivers rather than -cs for USB cards to work. However, gentoo's pcmcia-cs is only designed to work with kernel pcmcia support disabled... Is this correct? If anyone's managed to get it to work, how did you do it, and what kind of card do you have? TIA... |

I wanna have the usb2.0 card running but don't wanna reboot to use my WLAN.
this is really bitchy, i guess w 2.6 this is all over, right? _________________ ->searched for a gentoo penguin ->alienated it with "find edges", "saturation", "photocopy" ->encoded quicktime from still ->played with aaxine ->screenshotted ->made it my avatar

No, you need basic PCMCIA support in the kernel, just no specific drivers |
