Has anyone managed to get a PCMCIA / CardBus USB2 card working? As I understand it, I'd need to use kernel drivers rather than -cs for USB cards to work. However, gentoo's pcmcia-cs is only designed to work with kernel pcmcia support disabled... Is this correct? If anyone's managed to get it to work, how did you do it, and what kind of card do you have? TIA...

this is really bitchy, i guess w 2.6 this is all over, right?

No, you need basic PCMCIA support in the kernel, just no specific drivers

i switched over to the beta-series of 2.6.0 kernels. it's working like heaven, and i haven't experienced any problems by now.
