|
|
Hi,
When I run eix-test-obsolete -d I get the following message:
Code: | The following installed packages are not in the database:
x11-base/-MERGING-xorg-x11
|
Portage doesn't recognize it as a package when I try "emerge --unmerge 'x11-base/-MERGING-xorg-x11'" (not a valid package atom),
and it stills shows up after re-emerging xorg-x11.
Does anyone have an idea where this comes from, and whether it can be fixed?
Is it possible corruption in the installed packages database or something?
Regards,
Marijn.

SunMar,
Those files have been left in /var/db/pkg/x11-base/-MERGING-xorg-x11 by an aborded emerge during the qmerge phase. You should safely remove /var/db/pkg/x11-base/-MERGING-xorg-x11/ and verify if you xorg-x11 upgrade is still neede (likely yes). _________________ Laptop : Gentoo ~amd64

Found the directory and removed it (it was empty), that solved the issue.
Thanks! |
