|
|
Hello! So, I've selected a custom xpm.gz image with 14 colors as my default splashimage.
Problem is, now when I try to set the colors with the color argument, the colors don't change, they keep being the same all the time.
If I comment the splashimage line and take it out, the color option works.
Here's the beginning of my grub.conf:
splashimage=(hd0,0)/grub/my_splash.xpm.gz
color white/black cyan/black
As you can see, it should give me a foreground color of white and a highlight of cyan. But this only happens if I don't specify any splashimage.
As far as I understand, on grub-splash instructions they say to use 14 colors instead of 16 because the other 2 will be used as menu colors.
And since "black" in grub = transparent, I am really only specifying 2 colors to use and not 4.
So... a bug? Or am I the bugged? =P
Thanks in advance!
Edit: Just for reference I'm using the latest available stable grub version for x86_64 = 0.97-r10 _________________ Don't forget to call me when you ping! |
