Hello,
I emerged the gecko-mediaplayer package and firefox-bin but I can't play wmv-files. The plugin is not listed in about:plugins.
# ls /usr/lib64/nsbrowser/plugins/gecko-mediaplayer*
/usr/lib64/nsbrowser/plugins/gecko-mediaplayer-dvx.so
/usr/lib64/nsbrowser/plugins/gecko-mediaplayer-qt.so
/usr/lib64/nsbrowser/plugins/gecko-mediaplayer-rm.so
/usr/lib64/nsbrowser/plugins/gecko-mediaplayer.so
/usr/lib64/nsbrowser/plugins/gecko-mediaplayer-wmp.so
There's no message when I start firefox-bin on the command line. Firefox version is 3.6.8, gecko-mediaplayer version is 0.9.9.2 {-gnome}
Any idea?

Yup, "emerge firefox" (64bit) instead of firefox-bin (32bit) for gecko-mediaplayer (64bit). |

I've got the same problem. I emerged gecko and steamin video runs in Epiphany Web Browser but not firefox.
I;ve got flash to work with firefox though and not Epiphany.
How do you emerge firefox 64 bit?
