fbpanel "command = configure" doesnt work

Hi guys,

Recently I tried to enable autohide to my fbpanel and it looks like the line "command = configure" in my configuration file doesnt work anymore. This may be due to an update, but since I havent used this feature in a while I am not sure which one. I have the following version installed: x11-misc/fbpanel-6.0

If I runt "fbpanel --configure" from terminal, fbpanel starts along with the configuration window.

As usual, any help is highly appreciated.

Little update: I tried version 6.1 but I am still having the same issue.

Anyone with an idea on how to go about finding the cause?
