pulseaudio-0.9.21.2-r1 asyncq.c: q overrun, queuing locally

Said version was pulled today with emerge -uDN world. When launching totem on the same .avi that I could watch yesterday, pulseaudio takes up 100% of my CPU and floods /var/log/messages with the message in the title. I remember seeing this a while ago with older versions of pulseaudio, but I can't remember how to fix it... anyhow, it's 2am, I better go to sleep.
